permanently reduce risk of contaminated sediments
sediment deposition (burial) chemical and biological reactions
dispersion irreversible adsorption
Requires assessment, modeling, and monitoring
Differs from “No Further Action” in that the regulatory lead requires
monitoring that may include further assessment and modeling
