THE MARCH 2002 SEDIMENTS REMEDIATION ACTION TEAM MEETING
The Sediments Remediation Action Team plans to meet in Baltimore, Maryland, in March 2002. Call participants discussed the meeting's agenda, outlining the following schedule and events:
Call participants also noted that a working meeting is scheduled to take place between RTDF members and the Anacostia Watershed Toxics Alliance (AWTA). John Davis agreed to contact Dick Jensen to determine whether this meeting will be held on the afternoon of March 13 or the morning of March 14, or both. He will also find out whether this meeting will be held in Baltimore or in Washington D.C. Davis will send an e-mail to conference call participants to relay Jensen's response. Davis said that AWTA is compiling a monitoring plan for the Anacostia River and that a draft might be available before the March 2002 meeting. If it is available, Grosso noted, it would be useful to distribute the draft to those RTDF members who are committed to reviewing and commenting on the document. This would help increase the productivity of the RTDF-AWTA working meeting. Call participants thought this was an excellent idea.
Grosso and Stahl agreed to continue working on the meeting's agenda, and to send information about speaker names and presentation titles to Kelly Madalinski by January 18, 2002. Madalinski will compile the information that he receives from them and distribute a draft agenda by January 25, 2002.
