ACTION ITEMS RELATING TO THE NOVEMBER 2002 PRB ACTION TEAM MEETING
The next PRB Action Team meeting will take place in November 2002 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C. Call participants identified the following action items that must be performed before the meeting:
- Creating an agenda for the Steering Committee meeting. The PRB Action Team’s Steering Committee will meet on November 5, 2002, between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Bob Puls asked all Steering Committee members to send him suggestions for the meeting’s agenda by October 28. Puls will send the completed agenda to ERG so that it can be distributed.
- Finalizing the agenda for the plenary sessions. The Action Team will hold plenary sessions on November 6 and 7, 2002. ERG will distribute the most recent version of the agenda to the session planners (i.e., Puls, John Vidumsky, Tim Sivavec, and Bruce Sass) for final review.
- Planning a poster session. A poster session will be held on the evening of November 6, 2002. Puls and Vidumsky have already received abstracts for seven poster presentations. They will send these to ERG as soon as possible. They will also make an effort to identify additional poster presenters. All Steering Committee members were asked to do the same.
- Advertising the meeting. Puls will ask Matt Turner to notify people about the Action Team meeting. ERG will contact a representative from the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (ITRC) to ask whether the meeting agenda and invitation can be distributed to all ITRC members.
- Creating a meeting booklet. Speaker abstracts and presentations will be compiled in a booklet. ERG must receive these materials by October 25, 2002. ERG will remind speakers of the deadline.
