NEXT PRB ACTION TEAM MEETING

The next PRB Action Team meeting will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on October 26 and 27, 2004. A draft agenda has been created for the meeting. During the conference call, PRB Steering Committee members reviewed the agenda and requested some changes.

During previous conference calls, the PRB Steering Committee discussed the possibility of holding a poster session on the evening of October 26. Bob Puls asked whether any abstracts for posters have been submitted. Krug said that someone had contacted him about delivering information on using organoclay sorbents in cutoff walls. He was not sure whether this presentation would fit into the platform presentation sessions; if not, he said, the information could be presented as a poster. Puls said that he does not think a poster session is warranted unless at least five or six posters are presented. Thus, unless additional requests for posters are submitted over the next couple of weeks, the poster session will be canceled.
