APPLICATION OF MEMBRANES

Small diameter hollow fibers (commercially

available) can be used to deliver treatment agents

at controlled rates

e.g. Oxygen (aerobic biodegradation)

Hydrogen (dechlorination)

Liquid nutrients (biostimulation)

Organisms entrained in mist or liquid

(bioaugmentation)

Hollow fibers can be laid like cables on sediment surfaces

and anchored in place during in-situ treatment
